The 66 Chair has been designed to his usual exacting standards. The L-Leg structure solved the age-old problem of joining vertical legs to horizontal seat tops. Aalto’s leg, laminated and bent at 90, can be fastened directly to the underside of the top, eliminating any need for any framework or additional support.

    Jacques Adnet is a furniture designer best known for his Art Deco Modernist designs and an icon of French Modernism. Known for his avant-garde designs, Adnet was one of the first to integrate metal and glass in the structure and decoration of furniture. His style is the epitome of luxury. In 1950, Adnet formed a partnership with the French fashion house, Hermes, where he developed a collection of leather-covered furniture and interior accessories.
