This iconic mirror was designed in 1925 for Gio Ponti's home on Via Randaccio in Milan. This was his very first architectural project and decorated the walls in his bedroom together with other furniture designed especially for the apartment.
The Randaccio Mirror unites elegance with simplicity and is characterized by its atypical crown-like detailing on the top, a detail used by Ponti in several of his works. The mirror, which comes in three different sizes references the time when it was designed but also has a modern, clean look to add elegance to any interior.
Ponti was an architect, industrial designer, furniture designer, artist, teacher, writer and publisher. He was Italian by birth and during his career, which spanned six decades built more than a hundred buildings in Italy and in the rest of the world.
