Foscarini Rituals is a series of table lamps and sculptural suspension lights. The challenge the designers set about achieving was to translate the lightness of washi paper used in oriental lanterns into a glass light. Only Foscarini’s experience, combined with the skill of master Murano glassmakers made this creation possible. Made of satin blown glass, the shell of Rituals is cut horizontally at random intervals and depths. This particular treatment affects the scattering of light by creating areas of light and shade. The Foscarini Ritual suspension Light is available in three versions of different shapes and sizes.
