An amazing new chair from Kartell, the Piuma weighs barely 2.2kg and is just 2mm thick.
The chair's manufacturing is unprecedented and it took two years of research and development to bring it into production. Before now, the carbon compound used in Piuma has only been used in automotive and aeronautics. It is produced using new injection moulding technology and a previously untried blend of carbon-filled plastic. Piuma is a true breakthrough of industrial design. It is not only extremely light and slender but also amazingly durable making it perfect for contract use and is can also be used outside.
