  1. Ernest Race Roebuck Chair

    Ernest Race Roebuck Chair

    £270.00
The Race Roebuck Chair was originally designed as a low-cost option for Cafe and Dining venues. A mark of its success is that it was manufactured right up until 1968, the only variation being a change from spherical feet to moulded plastic feet (different to pictures shown). The striking colours of the frame contrast so well with the simple curved ply wood. Roebuck by Ernest Race is available in 3 frame finishes - Grey, Yellow or Red with Ply seat and back (other colours are available for larger quantities for bars, restaurants etc).
  2. Ernest Race BA3 Chair

    Ernest Race BA3 Chair

    £510.00

The BA3 was a success, becoming the showpiece of the ‘Britain Can Make It’ exhibition of 1946. One of the first mass-produced, cast aluminium chairs in the world, over 250,000 were made. It won a Gold Medal at the Milan Triennale of 1954 and is in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art, New York and the V&A Museum, London. A stunning chair that has lost none of its modernist looks over the years. The chair can also be covered in Customers Own fabric giving it so many options.
