Hastoe is a Windsor chair named after a neighbouring village of High Wycome in Buckinghamshire, where the Windsor chair originated. The chair uses traditional Windsor chair making techniques in order to further the story, the evolution of the English Windsor chair.
Born in 1957, British furniture designer Matthew Hilton has worked with many international furniture brands including Case Furniture, SCP, Authentics and De La Espada. Matthew Hilton believes in creating furniture that people live with, and his inspiration often comes from long-established furniture forms.
