Before ordering any items from Cimmermann please read and agree to our Term & Conditions, by clicking Place Order you are agreeing to and adheering to the below Terms & Conditions -

Ordering

When you have found a product that you wish to buy, just select the quantity you want to order and click on the ‘"Add to Basket" icon to add it to your order. Should you wish to amend your selection, simply click on the "Remove" icon by the product you do not require in the "Shopping Basket" page. To continue shopping, click on the "Continue Shopping" icon. To complete your purchases, click on the "Start Checkout" icon. On registering your details your credit card or debit card details will then be required together with confirmation of the delivery address. Cimmermann currently accepts Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Paypal and American Express. Once you have done this you will be transferred to Secure Trading's or Paypal's secure payment page were you will be asked to verify your details. Your order will be processed and verified by Secure Trading sor Paypal ecurely and you will be sent a confirmation email of your order. On the Secure Trading screen click return to Cimmermann to continue browsing. Once payment has been made arrangements will be made for the delivery of the item/s. Delivery times are stated in the item description and will be adhered to as closely as possible by Cimmermann. Sometimes these times cannot be guaranteed due to stock and supplier issues, by agreeing to our Terms and Conditions you agree to this.

Once you have successfully placed an order you will be sent an email confirming, among other things, receipt and the details of your order. Your order represents an offer by you to purchase goods from us. Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to check the confirmatory email and notify us immediately of any errors. A follow up email will then be sent once the goods have been dispatched to you, and it is only at this point in time that we accept your offer, are bound to fulfill it and a contract is formed.

If you wish to cancel an order before the order has been processed please email us at customerservices@cimmermann.co.uk as quickly as possible quoting your order reference number. If the order has already been acted upon you will need to follow the instructions on our Returns and Refunds Policy.

Security of shopping

Rest assured that the security of your personal data is our highest priority. All credit card payments are processed through SecureTrading which uses 3-D Secure. 3-D Secure is like a Chip & PIN for online purchases designed to protect the consumer and merchant by asking a secret password and a personal message during the transaction process. Our other payment option is Paypal which is processed securely on Paypal's site. Developed by Visa (Verified by Visa) and MasterCard (SecureCode).

Storage

Free storage is available in our warehouse for a period of 2 weeks from the date of delivery to us. If storage is required for longer than this period a fee will be charged by at 3% of the order value per week.

 

Deliveries

UK Orders Furniture Over £1500.00 - Free Delivery, Assembly and Removal of Packaging (Mainland UK)

Large Furniture orders over £1500.00 are handled by our delivery company Freight Express. It includes a two-man delivery teams who will place your item/s in the room of your choice, unpack and assemble (if necessary) and then remove and recycle any packaging. We do not fix or secure anything to wall's or ceilings. Wardrobes and certain other larger items may incur assembly costs dependent on size and location, please ring and ask a member of staff before ordering 01423 524777

Freight Express will contact you prior to delivery to arrange a day with a 2 hour time slot that is suitable for you to take the delivery. Before Freight Express get in touch one of our staff members will speak to you to let you know that your item is ready, either by E-mail or telephone. Your delivery in normal circumstances will be delivered to you within 10 working days of us getting in touch with you.

UK Orders Furniture Under £1500.00 - Free Delivery (Mainland UK)

* Furniture orders under £1500.00 will be either delivered by UKMail or Able Couriers if they are of a suitable size. This free courier service is a 9:00 am until 5:00 pm on a given day Monday to Friday but other timed services and Saturday deliveries are available at a cost. Saturday deliveries are an extra £25.00 We don't offer assembly or to take away packaging with this free service.

** If the item(s) you have ordered are too large for the standard courier service either our in-house delivery team or one of our delivery partners will deliver. With either you will be contacted prior to arrange a suitable time for you to receive the item(s). If the customer contacts us prior to the delivery we can arrange for packaging to be taken away and the item assembled, this may incur a cost which we will quote prior to delivering.

Lights - Free Delivery (Mainland UK)

All lights will be delivered free of charge by either APC Couriers or UKMail. This free courier service is a 9:00 am until 5:00 pm on a given day Monday to Friday but other timed services and Saturday deliveries are available at a cost. Saturday deliveries are an extra £25.00. Some lights that are too large will be delivered by Freight Express. We offer no light fitting service.

Deliveries outside the UK

Please contact us for deliveries outside of the UK. We can arrange this but there will be a cost. To contact us click here.

Delivery Times

Delivery times vary between suppliers but can be anywhere from 1 to 16 weeks dependent on supplier and product. We try to indicate on each item delivery times but these are guidelines and an expected delivery time will be given to you once the order has been placed, normally within 10 days. We do carry some items in stock which will be delivered within 5 working days in normal circumstances.

Your Delivery

Please inspect the goods thoroughly before accepting delivery and providing a signature for receipt. If there is any damage or any missing items, please inform the showroom on 01423 524777 within 24 hours. In the unlikely event of damage we need the customer to take detailed photos of the damage and also pictures of the packaging in order for us to process your claim. If you don't do this we may not be able to process your claim.

Please note: During Sale Periods of August and December/January European factories close. Some items ordered around these times will be subject to an additional 2 to 3 week delivery time.

Retention of title

Cimmermann remains the product owner until the items have been paid for in full.

Product information

All prices are quoted in British pounds sterling and are inclusive of UK Value Added Tax but exclude delivery charges.

Due to digital imagery, browser configurations, computer screens  and image quality Cimmermann cannot guarantee exact colour matches although at all times we try to achieve near perfect interpretations. Please be aware that the actual colour you see on the screen may differ to those of your ordered products. Slight variations in descriptions and measurements may happen from time to time. Packaging sometimes may vary from that shown.

With natural products such as wood or leather it is not possible to guarantee the same colour, shade, finish  or pattern as viewed on the website due to the natural, living nature of such products. Goods ordered at different times cannot guarantee exact colour/finishes due to different batches been inherently bespoke. Some items such as glass can contain blemishes or imperfections which comes with the craftmanship and bespoke nature of the material. These imperfections are determined by Cimmermann and the Manufacturer in questions

Refunds and Returns

Products - Made to Order and Special Order (Non Stock item)

Products that are Made to Order or Special Order (Non Stock item) are items that are manufactured in customer specific fabrics, finishes or dimensions or items that have to be specifically ordered in for a particular customer and are not held in stock (stated as being available in x number of days/weeks on the product's page). If you would like to know if the item you want to order is a Made to Order item contact us on 01423 524777 before you order. Once a Product that is Made to Order has been processed it is therefore not possible to change specifications, cancel or subsequently return. If an order is placed Cimmermann will let the customer know the expected delivery time on these items. The customer must let Cimmermann know within 48 hours if this delivery time is not acceptable and the order can be cancelled.

It is the customers responsibility to check that the item(s) purchased from Cimmermann will fit in the specified area where it is been delivered to.
Furthermore it is essential to check that items are the required size and that they will fit into the space for which they are intended by the customer. This includes access into the specified delivery point, access into the relevant room and access up/down stairs.

Any Made to Order orders will not be able to be changed, refunded or exchanged once the item has entered into production as per the customers specification. We accept no responsibility for any items that the customer decides they do not want.

If a Made to Order item is received damaged or defective then Cimmermann will replace the damaged item as long as the following is carried out:

A Claim is submitted by the Customer, first by telephone, then in writing within 48 hours. The Customer is responsible for returning the products back to Cimmermann, insurance is your responsibility. The items must be returned back to Cimmermann comprehensively packed in the Original packaging to prevent damage.

If a claim is made after 48 hours of the item been received, Cimmermann cannot be held responsible and the claim will become invalid.

Standard items - Damaged or Faulty

If a Standard item is received damaged or defective then Cimmermann will replace or refund the damaged item as long as the following is carried out:

A Claim is submitted by the Customer, first by telephone, then in writing within 48 hours. The items must be packaged up comprehensively packed in the Original packaging to prevent damage. The Customer will be refunded with the original purchase price or arrangements will be made for an exchange. Cimmermann will arrange collection of the faulty damaged goods.

If a claim is made after 48 hours of the item been received, Cimmermann cannot be held responsible and the claim will become invalid.

Cimmermann reserves the right to refuse a refund or to swap the item over if they feel that the Customer has tampered with, damaged by their means or simply changed their mind. In some cases the Manufacturer will have to be contacted and this procedure can take up to 30 days

Standard (Stock) items – Returns that are non-damaged

Please contact us to discuss a return or exchange within 48 hours of delivery in line with the procedure below:

A written notice of cancellation is required within 48 hours and the goods must be returned to us within 5 days. The cost(s) of returning the goods will be the responsibility of the customer. As soon as we receive the goods back in the same packaging as they were sent in or equivalent standard and they have been quality checked a refund will be issued within 14 days. Credit card orders will receive funds in the form of  a credit. Please contact us before ordering to determine if an item is a stock item.

Wallpaper and Fabric

The quantities of all wallpaper and fabric orders must be calculated by the customer, Cimmermann is not responsible for any over orders. Both wallpaper and fabric amounts that are left (if any) cannot be returned even if it is a full roll of wallpaper. We recommend consulting a decorator to determine the amount needed before ordering wallpaper.


Data protection and privacy

The information we collect about you in order to process your order will only be used lawfully in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
